TALENTED young netballers from Devizes are celebrating after going the whole season unbeaten and being named champions of their league.
The U12 team from Devizes Netball Club coached by Becki Gaiger joined the Swindon junior U12 league at the start of the season and saw off teams from Lawn, Moredon, Raychem, Royal Wootton Bassett, Croft and Fairford.
Mrs Gaiger also took the girls to the U12 regional tournament in Paignton, Devon, for extra experience before they put that into practice at the Swindon Junior Tournament and came home winners.
She said: "I'm so proud of this group of girls who have trained hard and been able to play every match at a high and intensive level. A big thank you to all the parents who have supported us throughout this season it's been much appreciated."
