WOMEN are being urged to channel their inner warrior alongside members of Westbury Ladies Rugby Club at an introduction to rugby event organised by the Rugby Football Union.
The league champions will be encouraging all women with a pair of trainers in the surrounding area to give the sport a try at Knott Field in White Horse Country Park on Saturday from 2-4pm.
Coach Jack Bates said: "Saturday is a great opportunity to come and try a new sport or rediscover a sport you used to play. The hardest part of joining a team is the first session, but with lots of ladies being in the same position, it will be the best time to start and release your inner warrior.
"Westbury Ladies' main focus is having fun and making sure sport is enjoyable. The team is like a family and would love for you to come along on Saturday and become part of it. Remember you don't have to be great to start but you have to start to be great."
