NORMAL service has resumed at Bath Spa station this morning, following 16 days of work.
The work involved widening both platforms, reducing the stepping distance from the train to the platform edge and addressing platform curvature.
Car parking at the station will continue to be affected until Sunday, April 30, though the drop-off point and the blue badge parking spaces will remain open during this period.
Michael Jones, Network Rail’s project manager for the Bath Spa station works, said: “I’d like to thank passengers, residents, and businesses in the city for their patience and understanding as we completed these works.”
