WILTSHIRE Freemasons have donated more than £6,000 to the Wiltshire Air Ambulance, bringing their total donations for the charity to £2.1million.
A cheque for £6,630 was given to the WAA last month, as well as another cheque for £1,000 which was raised by members from Calley Lodge which meets in Swindon.
A further £4,000 was also donated through the Masonic Charitable Foundation, which is funded by Freemasons and their families from across England and Wales.
Rebecca de la Bedoyere, senior fundraising manager at Wiltshire Air Ambulance said: “We are very grateful to Wiltshire Freemasons for their continuing generosity.
“Their support will help us to keep flying and saving lives across Wiltshire.”
Ian Priest from Wiltshire Freemasons said: “We are proud to be able to support the Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
“Thanks to the tireless efforts of their paramedics, doctors and aircrew, many lives of local people are saved every year.”
