PUPILS from All Cannings Primary School have been awarded trophies in recognition of their sporting achievements over the spring term thanks to local opticians, Haine & Smith.
Janet Hartwell, office manager at Haine & Smith, attended the school’s celebration assembly to congratulate the winners of most improved sports players’ award.
The under-nines category was won by Sophie Reed and Alex Dawson, while Natasha Perkins and Lawrie Williams received the awards for the under-11s.
Janet Hartwell said: “It is always a great pleasure to visit All Cannings School as the nurturing ethos is consistently evident. Every child is encouraged to achieve their own personal best in everything, and attitude, respect, courtesy, responsibility, resilience and resourcefulness are valued as highly as achievement.”
