PCSO Nicole Yates said: “We are keeping an open mind as to whether these incidents are linked and our enquiries are continuing.

“We would urge vehicle owners to be vigilant following these incidents.

“Please ensure your vehicles are always locked – don’t give opportunists an easy way in to your vehicle.

“Always ensure you do not leave any bags, valuables or possessions in your vehicle overnight – this will act as an invitation to thieves. Also, try and park in a well-lit area.”

Anyone with information should call 101.
