Market Lavington Music & Comedy Club held by far its most successful event on Sunday, when nearly 200 people were treated to two hours of live music from top American blues band Moreland and Arbuckle.

Dustin Arbuckle and Aaron Moreland, who are currently nominated for best rock & blues album at the upcoming 39th annual Blues awards, fitted in a visit to the small Wiltshire club as the last night if their short tour of the UK, before flying home to Kansas on Monday.

Promoter and club founder Ted Osborn said: "To say the night was a stunning success is an understatement, everyone loved them and they clearly now have 200 new fans.

"People had travelled from all over the country to see this stunning band, as well as many locals, and from the first note to the last we all lapped it up.

"To have a world class band like this to agree to come and play in Market Lavington was a truly unique night, and it would be fantastic to perhaps get them back one day."
