BUSINESSWOMEN are being invited to celebrate International Women’s Day 2017 at the annual Swindon and Wiltshire Women in Business Conference.

Organised by local business support organisation The Enterprise Network (TEN), it takes place on March 8 at Bowood Hotel and Spa.

The conference will bring together business leaders from across the county to take part in a day of inspiration and information, with guest speakers, workshops and exhibition, business advice sessions and plenty of networking opportunities.

Keynote speakers will be announced in the coming weeks but Coffee Republic founder Sahar Hashemi and co-founder of Green & Black’s Chocolate Jo Fairley have been amongst the forward-thinking speakers of previous years.

Workshops will run throughout the day on a wide range of business themes including social media and online marketing, successful business finance, mindsets for success, and creative thinking in business.

Returning for its third year, the event will see the first public launch of a new programme of business support, being delivered jointly by Swindon and Wiltshire councils. The SME Growth project will give eligible businesses 12 hours of free, intensive business support, as well as access to grants of up to ten thousand pounds.

Jol Rose, development officer at The Enterprise Network, said: “We are excited to be hosting this unique business event for a third year, bringing like-minded business owners together to network, learn new skills and share experiences.
