POLICE are appealing for information after a house was ransacked in Aldbourne this weekend.

The incident happened between 11am on Saturday and 11am on Sunday in Glebe Close, where the property's back window was smashed and a jar of money was stolen from inside.

Neighbours reported hearing suspicious noises at around 7pm on Saturday.

PC Teresa Herbert, Community Coordinator for the East Community Policing Team, said: "We are eager to hear from anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area, particularly around South Street, around this time."
