A FOUR-VEHICLE crash closed a lane of the M4 eastbound this afternoon between junction 15 (Swindon East) and Membury Services.
Police were called at about 4.15pm to the incident, which involved a lorry.
Traffic queued as recovery work was taking place. For a time two of the three lanes were closed.
A police spokesman said: "There are no injuries but it is not clear when motorway will be clear.
"Recovery work is ongoing."
