POLICE warned of icy conditions this morning as they responded to five accidents across the county.
In totally separate accidents on the same stretch of road two cars overturned at Little Somerford because of ice.
Clay Street is closed for the time being.
And the A4 in West Kennett was partly blocked between the B4003 junction and the A4361 Beckhampton Road junction, because of an overturned car and ice.
Meanwhile a crash on the B4042 The Street in Brinkworth near the School Hill junction is caused delays this morning.
Inspector Alan Webb has urged drivers to slow down and not expect road surfaces to be gritted as Wiltshire Winter on Twitter confirmed only 25 per cent of county's roads were gritted last night.
