A WILTSHIRE author who has taken inspiration from the county’s crop circles is celebrating the success of her new book.

Dawn Henderson has released Khalia’s Tomb, the fourth book in a series of fantasy fiction novels which tell the history of 13 ancient mystical crystal skulls brought to Earth.

“I have an interest in all things mystical and spiritual. The idea of writing about crystal skulls first came to me after a series of synchronicities brought them into my life,” she said.

“I love the possibility that our world and its history is more than it seems, I have no doubt there is a wide range of life forms out there in the universe, and I am enthralled by the crystal skulls.

“Putting all those together, writing Lost Legacy, the first book in the series, just sort of happened.”

Born in Plymouth, Ms Henderson relocated to Wiltshire in 1989 and wrote her first novel in 2012.

After living in Melksham for 15 years she recently moved to Bromham and has also written Forgotten Wings, a guidebook to spiritual growth and personal transformation.

Khalia’s Tomb is available to purchase at the Henge Shop in Avebury or from Amazon in both paperback and Kindle format.
