Words and no action
ON October 12, the leader of the Liberal Democrats (Tim Farron) put on record at a select committee hearing in Parliament, that current Lib Dem Parliamentary candidates are only in place until 2017.
As this is the case, would the current Lib Dem prospective parliamentary candidate be able to clarify whether she intends to stand in 2020, or is she merely a placeholder in an attempt to rally the troops for local elections in May next year? As always it does look like the Lib Dems are once again good on talk but poor on action.
