A COMEDY performance from 'boyband' 2Fat4That took Market Lavington Music and Comedy Club by storm, raising over £300 for the Hair Raising campaign which is helping Devizes mum Abi Jeffries and her daughter Rae.

2Fat4That pulled in over 100 people at the club in St Mary’s Road. Club manager Ted Osborn said: “I have known 2fat4that for over 10 years, since I first met them on holiday, and I was personally looking forward to seeing them, and we weren’t disappointed. They were incredible and everyone has demanded we bring them back next year. I am also delighted to have raised a good sum of money for Hair Raising, it is such a deserving cause.”

The crowd were treated to a night of jokes, vocal harmony and dancing, with people saying that it had been the comedy and music club’s best night so far.

The evening raised over £300 for the Hair Raising campaign, which is supporting Devizes mum Abi Jeffries, 39, who has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. The money will help send Ms Jeffries and her teenage daughter Rae, 14, on days out to create happy memories.

The next event at the Market Lavington Music and Comedy Club is a night of rock music with The Worried Men on July 16. Entry is free, with more details available on the Facebook and Twitter sites as well as the website at ml-mcc.weebly.com.
