A PEDESTRIAN who was involved in a collision with a car in Royal Wootton Bassett last month has died in hospital.
A police spokesman said: "Lionel Bugden, who was 78 years old and from the local area, died in the early hours of this morning in Southmead Hospital, bristol.
"Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Mr Bugden at this very sad time.
"The incident happened at 3.50pm on January 14 in the High Street in Royal Wootton Bassett.
"The police investigation into the collision, which involved a white Nissan Micra, continues and any witnesses are asked to contact Wiltshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111."
