CAN I through your paper ask the council that before giving permission for yet another takeaway in the Station Hill area they address the waste bin issue first or the lack of them.

Between the Monkton Hill junction with New Road and the New Road junction with Langley Road there are 10 takeaways with only one waste bin which is outside New Road Post Office.

We get rubbish blowing up our street including takeaway wrappers and I have e-mailed the street cleaning department twice and rang them once asking for our street to be swept over the last year and am still waiting, so a couple of new waste bins could help.
