A 29-YEAR-OLD man already convicted of stealing war medals, has pleaded guilty to two counts of shoplifting and breaching a previous suspended sentence.
Scott Cadder, of Fairfax Close, appeared before Swindon Magistrates’ Court on Friday after being arrested at Debenhams in the Parade Shopping Centre on Thursday.
Cadder is said to have had £95 worth of fragrances on him when he was stopped by Debenhams security staff and was later arrested.
He was also charged with another incident of shoplifting on January 10, when £64 worth of meat was stolen from Iceland.
Cadder pleaded guilty to both charges, was remanded in custody and committed to crown court.
He was put on a 10-month jail term suspended for 18 months in August 2013 after he admitted a string of burglaries.
Cadder admitted taking war medals from a neighbour and breaking into store rooms of others in the block of flats where he lived.
