CHIPPENHAM-based recruitment company 24-7 Staffing has become a platinum sponsor for Business against Poverty.
Business against Poverty, a social enterprise of the charity People against Poverty, is an accredited membership community based in Wiltshire.
24-7 Staffing, formed in 2004, joins a community of business people who care about the issues of poverty and ethical standards and are taking action together.
Managing director Julian Thompson said: “Having a purpose for going to work beyond money is vitally important to me and I’m very proud we signed up to Business against Poverty.
“Making a positive change to people’s lives is at the heart of recruitment and training, so we wanted to partner with a charity that could support these values.”
To support the campaign, Mr Thompson and his wife Melody plan on taking part in several fundraising initiatives.
Bill Huxley, founder and director of Business against Poverty, said: “We’re delighted 24-7 Staffing has become part of the our network and We are excited at the prospect of working with such a dynamic and growing company over the next year. Their ethical and social ethos fits perfectly with ours.”
