DYSON has temporarily moved a small number of employees and operations to Chippenham whilst work is carried out at their Malmesbury base.

Around 40 employees have been re-located to Bumpers Farm where the company has warehousing, a service workshop and a returns department.

The move doesn't have a fixed timescale but Dyson remain committed to their Malmesbury site where its investing £250m.

A Dyson spokesman said: “We are investing in our Research and Development headquarters in Malmesbury, to make space for an additional 3,000 engineers and new work spaces which will enable the creation of our future technologies for export around the world.

"While we build new facilities and re-model existing ones, we have relocated some warehouse and service operations to Bumpers Farm, Chippenham.”
