SHAKESPEARE Live, who are entering their 28th year of high quality outdoor Shakespeare productions, are looking for new members for summer 2016 and beyond.

Actors are invited to audition for The Tempest, which will be at Lackham House, Lacock from July 4-9. The setting will be a Greek island, and the character of Ariel will be a Greek chorus, for which women and girls of all ages over 12 are needed. Miranda should be young, playing age 18. The men's parts also cover a wide age range.

Rehearsals will be on Sundays from mid-April at Lackham.

The auditions are at The Royal Oak, High Street, Corsham, from 10am-4pm on January 10, or contact the company on shakespearelive@outlook.com if you can't make that date.

A stage manager is also needed for The Tempest.

Shakespeare Live have successfully applied for and performed at the RSC's Dell in Stratford upon Avon for the last four years. Submissions are welcome to devise and direct next summer's show, to be based on Shakespeare, something a little different, lasting no more than 90 minutes and using about 12 actors. Contact Shakespeare Live for more details.

Finally, in accordance with the company's policy to be open to new ideas and new people, submissions are invited from potential directors for summer 2017. Again, details are available from the company.
