The lantern parade will be re-arranged
SUNDAY'S willow lantern parade in Chippenham has been postponed due to the weather.
The second running of the town's lantern parade was due to set off from Monkton Park council offices in Chippenham at 5.30pm on Sunday.
The event has been postponed by organisers due to the predicted heavy rain and winds and will be re-arranged for a later date.
BID manager, Carolyn Brownell, said: "We are disappointed about having to cancel."
The roller skating in the Neeld Community Arts Centre will still be running between 11am and 3pm.
