A 23-YEAR-OLD man is in hospital with serious head injuries after his car collided with a telegraph pole near Dilton Marsh.
The incident happened at 10pm on Wednesday between Brokerswood and Dilton Marsh, when the local man’s black Honda Civic collided with a pole and stationary red Volvo.
He is currently receiving treatment in Southmead Hospital, Bristol, and a passenger in the car was also taken to the Royal United Hospital in Bath with minor injuries.
The road was closed while an investigation took place but has now been reopened.
PC Richard Hatch said: “I'm appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen or heard the incident to come forward.”
