MARLBOROUGH student Robyn Humphreys is celebrating achieving a top ballet qualification.
The teenager recently took the Royal Academy of Dance advanced 1 ballet examination, which is rated as a degree-level qualification, and has is celebrating passing it with merit.
The sixth form student at St John’s is currently studying for A-levels in art, English literature and French. She also studies ballet at the Elizabeth McIndoe Marlborough Dance Studios and is a student at Swindon Dance.
Robyn will be putting her skills to the test again later this month and dancing the role of the Sugar Plum Fairy in the Marlborough Dance Studios forthcoming production of The Nutcracker at St John’s Theatre on the Hill on Friday October 16 at 7pm and Saturday October 17 at 3pm and 7pm.
