A PAW-FECT new website for dogs has been set up by Kate Taylor from Calne in the hope of creating a directory for all things canine.

Dotty4Paws is all about making the country an even more dog friendly place with a directory including dog friendly attractions, events, accommodation, places to eat, shops and wedding venues.

It also features dog related services such as dog walkers and dog sitters, along with online shops where you can buy gifts for your pampered pooch and even gifts for the discerning dog lover in your life.

Dotty4Paws was launched in April and is already proving a success with almost five hundred dog-friendly businesses listed on the website, including big high street names such as White Stuff, Oasis Clothing, Mistral Clothing and even Liberty of London.

Creator Ms Taylor said: "I owe the inspiration for the website to Poppy, our incredibly pampered, nine year old Parson Jack Russell, who literally comes everywhere with my husband, Rob, and I - or should I say everywhere she is allowed.

"I wanted to create a useful resource for dog owners where they could find recommendations, ideas and inspiration for dog friendly places in any area of the UK.

"I believe so strongly that a dog is part of the family and I want people to know about the many amazing businesses that already welcome dogs."

Businesses are encouraged to display one of the website's dogs welcome stickers and visitors to any dog-friendly place listed on the website, can write reviews and post pictures to share their experiences with fellow dog owners.

If you know of any dog friendly places or would like to add your own dog friendly business to the directory, email kate@dotty4paws.co.uk.
