I’ve been reading for quite a while now that Tidworth, Larkhill, and other surrounding towns will struggle with the influx of British forces and their families as they are gradually phased out of Germany.

Struggle? With our own forces? Yet we can open our borders to any Tom, Dick and Harry without hesitation and find them houses, benefits and free health care instantly. What is wrong with this country?

Our forces should be welcomed back and given special treatment, not treated as a burden on the country they’ve served. Maybe they should claim asylum as they enter Britain and then they’d get anything they want.
