IT services and solutions company, National Customer Engineering, is continuing to support the Wiltshire Air Ambulance as its charity of the year.

Calne-based NCE raised more than £5,700 for the charity last year by attending and organising various events and is hoping to improve on that figure in 2015.

Last year, employees took part in a 15,000ft tandem sky dive over Salisbury plain, the Marlborough Downs Challenge, and Beat the Pro at Bowood Golf Course as well as various raffles and volunteering during Air Ambulance Week in September.

NCE also held The Great NCE Bake Off at their HQ on Stanier Road before a similar The Alternative Christmas Bake Off later in the year.

NCE managing director Andrew Genever said: “The work the team at Wiltshire Air Ambulance do and being close to home for many of us here at NCE, it was an obvious choice for us to continue to support such a worthy cause for another year.”

Wiltshire Air Ambulance is thrilled to have the support of NCE for another year.

Rebecca de la Bedoyere, fundraising manager at Wiltshire Air Ambulance, said: "We are delighted that NCE has decided to continue to support us in this way. We thoroughly enjoyed working with them in 2014 and really admire their enthusiasm, commitment and creativity.

“We're very much looking forward to developing the partnership further and working together to raise funds to keep our life-saving helicopter and crew flying. Our costs have more than tripled since our partnership with Wiltshire Police ended on December 31, and the support of NCE and the business community in general is vital to us."
