Maryport Street, Devizes
LOVELY Shoes in Devizes has now closed because the owner could not make it pay.
The ladies shoe and handbag boutique has been on Maryport Street for several years with owner Selina Rogers making the decision last month to close her only shop.
Lovely Shoes shut its doors for the final time on February 28 and Ms Rogers, 50, is now working for her partner’s company as an admin assistant.
She said: “I had kind of given up as it just wasn’t making enough money for me to carry on.”
The closure of the boutique follows a string of other shops shutting over the last few months, along with the closure of Tesco due on April 4.
