CHILDREN in Rowde have been busy today raising money for Red Nose Day.
Staff and children at Sunny Days Pre-school, based within Rowde Academy, dressed in red and baked cakes to sell to parents and carers.
Staff then discussed with all the children how the money raised is spent helping others who are less fortunate.
Sarah Martin, setting manager, said: “The children had a great time selling their cakes. We do several fundraisers a year so the children can learn about helping others.
The pre-school hopes to raise at least £50 for the annual charity event, which raises millions of pounds nationally.
