HUNDREDS of families are expected at this year’s popular lambing weekends at Wiltshire College Lackham.
Children will be able to get up close and personal with the lambs and have their photographs taken on the weekends of March 14 and 21, both from 10am to 5pm.
There will be tractor and trailer rides around the Lackham estate, a mini farmers’ market, land train and fairground rides, plant sales, a student run tea room and an exhibition of woodland crafts, plus a round-the-farm quiz and spot the lamb contest trail, with treats for each child completing the quiz.
Demonstrations of cow milking will be given from 1.30pm each day.
Entry is £7 for adults and £5 for under 16s, or £25 for a family of four or more, with children under two free.
