A Chippenham make-up artist is in the running to become part of the L’Oréal Paris make-up designers’ team.
It is the first time L’Oréal have held an international make-up competition, and 22-year-old Jess Reid, of Manor Road, has made the top 50 entrants from the UK.
Now she needs as many votes from the public as possible, as the five entrants receiving the most votes will be in with a chance of being offered the sought after £72,000 position.
So far more than 850 people have voted for Miss Reid, who went to Corsham School and studied make-up for film and TV at London College of Fashion.
Her sister Becky Reid, 26, who lives in Pewsham, said: “It’s the only thing she’s ever wanted to do and it’s a really tough industry to work in; these opportunities don’t come along very often.”
