MOURNERS are expected to turn out in their hundreds to attend the funeral of 20-year-old crash victim Nathan Cox on Friday.

Nathan, of Lambrok Road was travelling along with Jordan Taylor, 20, and Chad McVeigh, 18, in a silver Citroen Saxo when their car hit a blue articulated lorry at the West Wilts Trading Estate in Westbury on Friday, December 5, at 10.30pm.

The funeral will be held at St Michael's Church, Hilperton, at 12.30pm followed by a private family burial at 1.30pm.

Alison Little, Nathan’s aunt, has spoken of how she looked at him like a son and has asked that people follow her nephew’s sense of style by dressing smartly.

Family tributes will be paid to the popular labourer during the service and the family has asked those in attendance to bring along photos to the wake so that a memory board can be created in tribute of Nathan. The wake will be held at Trowbridge Rugby Club after the private burial.

Nathan was raised in Hilperton and had known Jordan and Chad since they were young children. They attended school together at Staverton Primary and later at John of Gaunt School.

Chad McVeigh’s funeral will be held on Monday at All Saints' Church, Westbury, at 10.30am followed by a wake at the Angel Inn.

Jordan's funeral will also take place next week but his family say it will be a private ceremony and have requested details are not made public.
