Pupils at Forest and Sandridge CofE Primary School are taking to the web to blog about the progress of their new school.
Parents and the local community will be able to see how the building is coming along through the youngster’s photographs and blog posts.
The school is being built south of Snarlton Lane in Melksham and will have space for 420 children. Work is in its fourth week and is expected to be finished by autumn 2015.
Headteacher Anna Willcox said: “We can’t wait for the new site, we needed it desperately and we are very excited about it and have been busy preparing for it.
“The children and parents are in disbelief about being able to see diggers because we have been talking about it for a long time.”
