A locally sourced juicing service, My Apple Juice, has recently expanded and is continuing to tantalise the taste buds of Wiltshire residents.

The company, based on Warren Farm on the edge of the Savernake Forest, turns customers’ own apples and pears into individually labelled bottles of pasteurised juice for a set fee.

In September, owner Richard Paget acquired a new food preparation building, provided by Create a Cabin, and business for My Apple Juice is expected to double by the end of the year.

With more than 90 per cent of garden apples typically going to waste each year, Mr Paget saw great potential for the business and has been delighted by its continued success.
“Our pure apple juice is delicious. Nothing beats the taste of juice made from your own apples,” he said.

My Apple Juice now produces more than 25,000 bottles a year, with its bespoke service currently available within a 10 mile radius that includes West Berkshire, South Gloucestershire, South Oxfordshire, North Wiltshire and North-West Hampshire.

Mr Paget has also worked with charities, churches and other community groups in the area including Pewsey Primary School, giving the opportunity for groups to raise funds through My Apple Juice’s products.

The prime time for pressing is between August and November, so there’s no time like the present to take your fruit to My Apple Juice’s base in Savernake.
