Laura Carleton
The heateacher of Calne’s John Bentley School, Laura Carleton, will not be in school for the foreseeable future, pending an investigation by the governors, it was announced today.
A statement from the governors said they are pleased to confirm that Melanie Sutton, a well established member of the senior leadership team, will be the acting principal.
Ms Carleton joined John Bentley in September 2013. She had previously been deputy head of Bristol Grammar School.
A letter is going out to parents today informing them of the situation.
