Public speaker Rob Caskie is giving a talk at St John’s in Marlborough in an event organised by three sixth form students.
International Baccalaureate students Viki Rutt, Olivia Freeman and Emily Palmer took on organising the event for the Creativity, Action and Service element of their course which requires them to carry out 50 hours of volunteer work.
Viki said: “With work from school as well as organising the event it been quite stressful but it’s also been really rewarding as well.”
The renowned historian will be at the Theatre on the Hill next Wednesday giving his talk Going South with Scott and Shackleton.
Doors open at 7pm and the talk starts at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £10 and are available from the White Horse bookshop, by calling (01793) 435329 or email caroline.morgan@NSPCC.org.uk
