A 49-year-old man is to face trial by judge and jury after denying a charge of assault causing actual bodily harm.
Raisham Mudhar pleaded not guilty to the alleged incident when he appeared in the dock at Swindon Crown Court on Friday.
It is alleged that the defendant assaulted Christopher Kaye on Wednesday, March 23.
Recorder Nicholas Atkinson QC adjourned the case to Monday, February 9, and released Mudhar, of The Steadings, Royal Wootton Bassett, on bail until then.
