Devizes firefighters are supporting a community event being held at Hillworth Park tomorrow.
A range of organisations will be at the park in Queens Road between 10am and 3pm, offering visitors advice and information about their services.
As well as Wiltshire Fire & Rescue Service, there will be stands from agencies including Wiltshire Police, St John Ambulance, Wiltshire Air Ambulance, the Bobby Van Trust, Wiltshire Council, Community First, Aster Housing Association, the Army and Combat Stress.
Firefighter Dan Burton said: “The Devizes Neighbourhood Policing Team came up with the idea of a Services Day for the town, and it’s a great opportunity for us to go along and meet with local people.
"Children can have a look in the fire engine, and we’ll be advising on home fire safety and road safety – you can even ask us about becoming an on-call firefighter!”
