A three-year-old boy has been flown to hospital by the Wiltshire Air Ambulance after being found unresponsive in a swimming pool in Upavon.
The boy had been reported missing to police but was found 20 minutes later in the nearby pool.
A Wiltshire Police spokesman said they were called just after 7pm on Wednesday and the boy was found just after 7.20pm.
He was flown to Southampton General Hospital where he remains in a life threatening condition.
The boy received emergency medical treatment at Upavon but was unresponsive, said a police spokesman.
