Fitness instructor Vicki Diwell has come up with a novel way to get new mums back in shape, with a baby-friendly Pilates group.
The 34-year-old, of Salisbury Road, Marlborough, has been a Pilates instructor for 13 years and set up Pilates Babes in Great Bedwyn Village Hall after giving birth to her first child, Leander, five months ago.
Mrs Diwell said: “I just wanted to find a way of going back to teaching while having Leander with me at the mums and babies groups.”
Babies lie next to their mums during the hour-long classes, which run from 3pm on a Friday, and can be picked up during various stretches.
Mrs Diwell, who also runs Fitness Babes in Hillworth Park, Devizes, said: “There are other Pilates classes for babies but they mainly focus on the babies.”
The next term will start in September. Visit www.face book.com/fitnessbabes, email fitnessbabes@gmail.com or call 077944 12685.
