The England World Cup match passed off peacefully in Devizes last night.
Police said the behaviour of customers watching the match at pubs in the town was good natured.
Sgt Joanne Spencer said: “It was reassuring that those people who were out for the evening to watch the football conducted themselves in a manner that was considerate to others and that Devizes remained trouble free following a match that, to some people, would have been very disappointing.”
