Devizes sculptor Mark Whelehan has been selected to participate in the forthcoming Sculpture Garden event as part of Bradford-on-Avon Arts Festival.
He will be exhibiting several of his pieces varying in scale, material and style, ranging from a large hanging wire work entitled ‘Kinky Boot’ through to a more traditional carved bog oak wood sculpture and a couple of clay items.
He said: “I’m thrilled to be a part of this event and to have some of my work sitting alongside such an exciting and diverse range of fellow artists. There’s some great talent involved and all manner of wonderful things made from bronze, stone, steel, resin and even tights.”
The event consists of around 20 artists and runs from July 13 to 20.
