Police arrested a 21-year-old man after discovering 40 to 50 cannabis plants in a flat in Hudson Road, Malmesbury.
The plants were seized by police along with cultivation equipment.
Malmesbury Sergeant Martin Alvis said it was an offence to cultivate any part of a cannabis plant, to water, feed or nurture them, He said: “The plants were at various stages of development from mature plants to seedlings.
“As this case is now subject to a hearing at court I can’t comment further, other than to say the team here at Malmesbury will continue to disrupt the supply and use of controlled drugs and will, where possible, take action.”
Levi Walters has been charged with the cultivation of cannabis and will appear at Swindon Magistrates’ Court on June 19.
