WPC Sonya Stockill, community beat manager for Calne Rural, and PCSO Nicole Yate (Calne Rural) joined a group of people from Hilmarton village yesterday for a ploughman's lunch and a chat as part of their local community role.
CAMEO - which stands for Come And Meet Each Other - is a group set up by the parish Church of St Laurence to provide the opportunity to share a meal, sometimes soup, sometimes ploughman's lunches, and occasionally afternoon tea or morning coffee.
It is open to anyone, men and women, young and old, who want to take time out of their normal day to relax with old friends and make new ones.
The venue can be anywhere in the parish but this time it took place in Hilmarton church hall.
