Seven young carers from across Wiltshire took to the water to develop their leadership skills, improve qualifications and raise money to support others.
The Devizes, Warminster, Trowbridge and Salisbury youngsters completed a six-day sailing challenge, navigating 100 nautical miles in their boat, Moosk.
They raised £380 for the Wiltshire Young Carers Service, which supports to young people who care for a relative, as well as opportunities for them to spend time away from their caring roles.
The carers, who are supported by the service at Youth Action Wiltshire, learned about life skills, personal safety, how to sail and how to cook. All gained ASDAN Leadership and Royal Yachting Association Competent Crew awards.
Lynn Gibson, the assistant chief executive at Comm-unity First Wiltshire, said they often take on huge responsibilities and need time to enjoy outside challenges.
