North Wraxall Pre-school gets a mud kitchen to replace stolen planters
1:00pm Saturday 10th May 2014 in News
Children at North Wraxall Pre-school, who were left devastated after two of their planters were stolen over Easter, have been given a reason to smile again by a recycling firm.
Thieves made off with the two large wooden planters, which had been filled with flowers by the group’s 36 children.
Committee secretary Kelly Collier said: “They were really shocked – they were right out front and they could see them when they go through the door, so they knew straight away that they had gone.
“It was really hard to explain to the children that they were too nice and somebody else wanted them.”
Wiltshire Wood Recycling, of Castle Combe, has now provided the materials for a ‘mud kitchen’, which was put together by Stonewood Builders.
