A hotel manager has been disqualified from the road for 24 months after driving over the legal alcohol limit.
Wojciech Matusiak, 27, of Stone Close, Corsham, ran a course on the dangers of drink-driving for his colleagues after the incident on April 13 and has been allowed to keep his job.
Matusiak collided with a parked vehicle on Potley Lane in Corsham at 9.30pm.
A breath test found that he had 92mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mcg.
Matusiak was given extremely positive references from his employer.
Chippenham magistrates fined him £500 last Thursday, and handed out a two-year driving ban.
