Three generations of one family will be taking part in the next concert of Devizes Singers.
Gloria Chapman from Queens Road set up the singing group more than 20 years ago and was soon joined by her three daughters, Lydia Webb, Elizabeth Schorah and Esther Chapman.
The composition of the singing group, which performs fundraising concerts several times a year in aid of local charities, has changed over the years, but this year there will be notable difference as the third generation of the Chapman family gets involved.
Sky Chapman-Smith, 13, Esther’s daughter, a pupil at Devizes School, will take her place in the group to sing a selection of popular and traditional songs at the town hall on Wednesday, May 7, at 7.30pm.
Another first is the participation of the St Joseph’s RC Primary School choir.
Tickets cost £7 for adults and £3 for children and are on sale at Devizes Books.
