Miss Wiltshire finalist Annaleaz Dolman, from Calne, will raise money for the pageant’s charity Beauty with a Purpose during an event on April 18.

Miss Dolman of Station Road, Calne, is a former John Bentley pupil and currently works as deputy head housekeeper at Bowood House Hotel.

She is taking part in the final for Miss Wiltshire at the De Vere Hotel in Swindon on April 27, for which every girl must make an eco outfit using old or vintage clothes.

The 23-year-old is also hoping to win the Miss Charity title for raising the most money for disadvantaged children through Beauty for a Purpose.

Her charity event takes place at the London Road Inn at 7.30pm and will include live music, a raffle, cake sales and a leg waxing.

Two old school friends, 23-year-old Josh Jurezcko and 26-year-old Kieran Hegarty, have volunteered for the leg wax.

Miss Dolman said: “I’m loving the experience so far, it’s keeping me busy, but I’m extremely nervous about the final because I haven’t done anything like this before and it’s all new to me.

“There’s going to be a catwalk where you have to walk down in your eco outfit and you have to explain why you’ve chosen what you’re wearing.

“They have the boot camp the day before and from what I’ve heard it’s the last standing girl who wins.”
