Else Kirkaldy, a former secretary to Winston Churchill, celebrated her 102nd birthday last week.
Mrs Kirkaldy, who formerly lived in Urchfont but has been a resident at Dauntsey House nursing home in West Lavington since 2005, was given a tea party by staff at the home.
Her first memories include the celebrations at the end of the First World War.
In the 1930s she was employed as one of the secretaries to MP Winston Churchill before he became Prime Minister.
She also worked as a secretary at the BBC.
