Cleaner Sandra Witchell was thrilled to be offered £1,000 worth of treatments from the Halo Clinic after winning a Gazette & Herald competition.

At the moment, Mrs Witchell, 55, of Ernle Road, Calne, uses her local beauty clinic ,Woman to Woman & The Male Perspective, in Church Street, for her beauty treatments.

But she is now looking forward to trying out new treatments at the Halo clinic at Hathaway Medical Centre in Chippenham.

Her win entitles her to choose from the wide range of non-surgical cosmetic treatments it offers.

Mrs Witchell, who is a cleaner at St Dunstan Primary School in Calne, said: “I have a leg wax and hair removal on my lip and red vein treatment. I would like to have a hot stone massage; I’ve never had that.

“I had a call to say that I had won and I was a bit shocked and a little embarrassed, because I won the racing tickets for Cheltenham a few weeks ago.”

The Halo Clinic is run by Dr Anthony Wright and Dr Ellen Goedbloed, both of whom are qualified medical practitioners and able to offer a tailored programme to help restore ageing skin.

Halo treats a number of conditions, including facial veins and redness, sun damage, sun spots, acne, leg veins and scars. It uses Juvederm Smile for lip enhancements.

The clinic is open from 9am to 6.30pm, between Monday and Friday. For more information, call (01249) 454545 or see www.thehaloclinic.co.uk.
